Police have made an arrest in the city’s latest murder.
A little after 1 a.m. Saturday, police were called to an address on Eastern Ave. and Lewis St. where they found the victim — identified by police as 47-year-old Toronto man Kerry Romain — suffering life-threatening injuries.
He was transported to hospital where he later died.
Sunday morning, police announced they’d made an arrest in the case, charging Roger Foreshaw, 45, of Toronto, with second-degree murder.
He’s scheduled to appear in Old City Hall court Sunday morning.
Romain’s death was the city’s 56th homicide of 2018.
