Looks from Billy Porter and Laura Dern, plus 10-year-old Julia Butters’ turkey sandwich were among the most talked about Oscars red carpet moments.
Speaking on the Oscars red carpet Sunday with Ryan Seacrest (and her older brother and producer, Finneas O’Connell) Eilish said her accolades at music’s biggest night were still a shock.
“I – it’s crazy,” she said. “It’s like, I don’t know what to say to that. It was so surreal and it was still so surreal. Every time I see the picture where I got all the (trophies), I don’t believe it.”
The 18-year-old pop sensation has usually taken to the red carpet this awards season in Gucci, but she mixed it up Sunday night. Eilish sported Chanel, while Finneas rocked Gucci instead.

Eilish sported her signature green and black hair, along with a Chanel coat, lace fingerless gloves and super-long black nails.
Later that night, Eilish, joined by Finneas on the piano, performed The Beatles’ “Yesterday” during the award show’s In Memoriam segment.
Eilish swept all the major honors at the 62nd annual Grammys in January, winning album, record and song of the year as well as best new artist. Christopher Cross was the last artist to accomplish that Grammys feat in 1981.
Speaking backstage at the Grammys, the teen singer, who also took home a trophy for pop vocal album, said she believed her win would be important to young people. “We made this album in a bedroom in our house that we grew up in and it was mastered in somebody’s living room. So it’s really, anything is possible.”
What will she do next? “Being in this moment is all I’m thinking about. But if I’m trying to think rationally, I don’t know what is next. I’m going to do whatever I feel. Whatever I’m in the mood for I’m going to go for.”
