Jenna Dewan is clearing the air, saying she did not criticize Camila Cabello at the American Music Awards.
During Sunday’s ceremony, Twitter user @kordeilogy shared a snippet from Cabello’s steamy performance of “Señorita” with boyfriend Shawn Mendes, suggesting that Dewan turned to celebrity stylist Brad Goreski and said, “She’s always extra.” Now, Dewan is clearing up any confusion around the alleged diss.
“Leaving the AMAs, I’m getting a lot of text messages from people wondering if I was shading Camila,” the pregnant Dewan said on her Instagram Stories. “No! I love her! I love her so much! I’m such a big fan of hers. I don’t understand what that’s about, but, no, I love her.”

“Guys, we were bumping and grinding so hard to ‘Señorita,’ ” Goreski assured Dewan’s followers. “We’re obsessed.”
“That’s my favorite song! So crazy!” added Dewan. “Anyways, clearing that up!”
Prior to addressing the supposed diss the dancer praised Cabello’s individual performance in a separate Instagram Story. “Yasss!” Dewan exclaimed, using three flame emojis.

Of course, some on Twitter began speculating before Dewan could put the fire out.
“Anyone else notice Jenna Dewan hatin during the #Shawmila performance?” @theesairaaaa inquired.
Another seemingly felt justified by Dewan’s explanation.
“y’all better start apologizing to Jenna Dewan, clown (expletive),” @foolishcabello posted. “never wanting to waste an opportunity to hate on (Camila Cabello) and getting celebrities dragged into your hateful mess.”
