Between hosting her new daytime talk show and coaching on “The Voice,” Kelly Clarkson is somehow making time for another big career first: a residency in Las Vegas.
The pop star and part-time Nashvillian will kick off her residency at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood on April 1. She’ll play 16 shows from April to September.
Clarkson broke the news on Friday’s episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
“Not only am I getting to perform, I’m gonna get to play all the ‘Wheel of Fortune’ slots,” she told viewers. “Which is really my reason for going there.”
But seriously, Clarkson said when she started her daytime TV gig, “I heard from fans everywhere who were worried I’d stop putting out new music and touring. Well, don’t worry. I got you.”
Tickets for Clarkson’s Vegas shows go on sale via Ticketmaster Monday, Nov. 4.
