Post Malone decided to throw a party with one of his favorite things, Popeye’s Biscuits. Keri Lumm (@thekerilumm) reports on this over the top gluten festival.
Post Malone’s sung-rap trap music has never belonged to a distinct genre. With a new collaboration with Ozzy Osbourne, he’s adding heavy metal to the mix.
Malone’s new album “Hollywood’s Bleeding” dropped Friday, packed with collaborations from DaBaby, Halsey, Future, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, SZA, Swae Lee and Young Thug. “Take What You Want” features the most surprising combination of personalities, teaming Malone with Osbourne and rap superstar Travis Scott.
“Take What You Want” doesn’t venture too far into Osbourne’s metal underworld, featuring the rock legend delivering vocals in between verses from Malone and Scott before a snarling electric guitar outro.
Earlier this year, Osbourne was forced to postpone his “No More Tours 2” farewell tour following an injury he sustained while dealing with a bout of pneumonia.
“I can’t believe I have to reschedule more tour dates,” he said in a release. “Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now. I’m grateful for the love and support I’m getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it’s really what’s keeping me going.”
